Mauro Miceli
Director of Operations at BetStarters
Mauro Miceli began his career in Malta’s public sector, working in EU project management and coordination roles for over 14 years. He served as a Project Manager at the Planning and Priorities Coordination Division, Communications Coordinator at the Ministry of Health, and held roles at MEUSAC and the European Union Programmes Agency. He then transitioned to retail, becoming a Purchasing Manager at Lidl Malta.
In 2022/2023, he entered the iGaming industry as Operations Manager at GM Gaming Limited. He later joined BetStarters as Director of Operations, where he currently oversees operational strategy and process optimisation.
Outside of work, Miceli is an elected representative on the Swieqi local council and founder and Malta Football Association council member for Swieqi United Football Club.
