Michaella Pillakouri is a qualified lawyer and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association, holding a Bachelor's degree in Law and a dual Master's degree in International Commercial and Maritime Law from Swansea University in the UK. After being admitted to the Bar in 2015, she gained corporate legal experience in the iGaming sector, notably serving as a Corporate Lawyer at Parimatch, where she was a speaker during Safer Gambling Week 2020.
In 2019, Pillakouri founded Enalian Consulting, a boutique legal and consultancy firm based in Limassol, Cyprus. The firm specialises in cross‑border advisory, international business development, corporate law, and M&A. Under her leadership as Founder & CEO (also Managing Director), the firm has grown to 21 professionals and was recognised by Legal 500 EMEA 2026 as a “Firm to Watch” in Commercial, Corporate and M&A.
Beyond her practice, Pillakouri is an active mentor and speaker on topics including responsible gambling, business strategy, and the Cyprus investment environment. She continues to lead Enalian Consulting, advising clients across the iGaming and broader business landscape.
