
Mike Dreitzer
Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board
Mike Dreitzer is Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, appointed by Governor Joe Lombardo in June 2025. With over 25 years in gaming, gaming law, regulation, and executive leadership, Dreitzer took an unusual path from CEO of a gaming equipment company to the state's top gaming regulator.
He began his career as a Deputy Attorney General in Nevada, representing the NGCB and Nevada Gaming Commission. He then held senior roles at Progressive Gaming, BMM Testlabs, and Ainsworth Game Technology. Most recently, he served as CEO of Gaming Arts, a startup gaming equipment supplier, before being tapped to lead the Control Board.
Dreitzer holds a law degree from Emory University School of Law (1994) and an undergraduate degree from Emory University (1991). He is licensed in major gaming jurisdictions worldwide and has been a vocal advocate for streamlining technology approvals, combating illegal gambling, and reinforcing anti-money laundering compliance.
