Nadine Dereza

Nadine Dereza is an award-winning journalist, business presenter, conference chair, moderator, facilitator, and keynote speaker. She has presented business, finance, and current-affairs programmes for major TV networks including CNBC, Associated Press, Summit TV, BBC, CNN, SABC, Simply Money, and Sky TV. She was named Financial Journalist of the Year during her time at the Financial Times and Summit TV. She presented CNBC's IoT: Powering the Digital Economy and has interviewed global leaders such as Kofi Annan, Condoleezza Rice, Ban Ki-moon, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, and Gerhard Schröder.

In the iGaming industry, Dereza has served as conference chair for Clarion Gaming's ICE VOX and, from January 2025, chairs the inaugural ICE World Gaming Forum in Barcelona. She is co-founder and Media Director of Babaco Media, a communications consultancy specialising in media-training, crisis-planning, and preparation for parliamentary select committees and regulatory hearings. She has also worked as a Communications Consultant for Assurety, the witness-preparation business.

Dereza was appointed a Non-Executive Director of the WorldSkills London Board for the duration of the 2011 'Skills Olympics' project. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, a Non-Executive Director of OpenProperty Tech Ltd, a judge for the International Broadcasting Convention's Accelerators Media Innovation Programme, and a judge for The Business Books Awards. She is co-author of the book Insider Secrets of Public Speaking.
