Nevindaree Premarathne
Founder & CEO of The Makers Global
Nevindaree (Nevi) Premarathne is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Makers Global, a Sri Lankan ed-tech startup that designs engaging, hands-on STEM learning experiences for children. She also serves as an advisor to Women in Tech® Sri Lanka.
Under her leadership, the company won the She Loves Tech 2023 Sri Lanka competition and was awarded the Most Outstanding Start-Up of the Year 2024 by WCIC Sri Lanka. Her expertise in technology and entrepreneurship has led to speaking engagements at major iGaming industry conferences, including SiGMA South Asia, where she is listed as an exhibitor.
She holds a degree from the University of Colombo and is an active advocate for women in STEM, focusing on making STEM education interactive and accessible for young learners.
