Nick Lundgren

Nick Lundgren serves as Chief Legal Officer at Underdog, a prediction market and sports betting operator, having joined the company in May 2026 after departing from Crypto.com. In this role, he oversees legal, regulatory, and compliance matters for the company’s expanding prediction market business, drawing on extensive experience in high-stakes regulatory environments.

Before Underdog, Lundgren spent six years at Crypto.com, where he held the same title of Chief Legal Officer and also served as CEO of its subsidiary OG.com. During his tenure, he led the platform’s global regulatory approvals and built the legal framework that supported over 100 million users. His departure from Crypto.com in early 2026 was widely reported in industry outlets.

Previously, Lundgren was a Crypto Attorney at Perkins Coie LLP, a Payments Attorney at Amazon, and a Corporate & Securities Attorney at Norton Rose Fulbright. Earlier in his career, he became the youngest Store Manager at Kmart. Lundgren holds a Juris Doctor in Business Law from the USC Gould School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the UW Foster School of Business, a combination that underpins his expertise at the intersection of law, business, and emerging technology.
