Nunes Marques

Kassio Nunes Marques is a Brazilian jurist serving as a Minister of the Supreme Federal Court of Brazil, the highest court in the country. He was appointed to the STF by President Jair Bolsonaro and took office in November 2020. His rulings on gambling-related cases have drawn significant attention from the iGaming industry.
Prior to his elevation to the Supreme Court, Nunes Marques served as a federal judge and then as a desembargador (appeals judge) at the Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region (TRF-1).
