Panagiotis Trisokkas
President of the National Betting Authority of Cyprus
Panagiotis Trisokkas serves as the President of the National Betting Authority of Cyprus, the country's gambling regulatory body. He was appointed by the Council of Ministers in October 2024 for a three-year term.
Before entering the regulatory sector, Trisokkas had a long professional career as a basketball player, representing Cyprus internationally and playing for clubs including Keravnos Nicosia, Paralimni, and Petrolina AEK. He holds a university degree from Kingston University.
In his current role, Trisokkas leads the Authority's efforts to regulate betting activities, promote responsible gambling, and position Cyprus as a hub for betting investments. He is also an active participant in European regulatory forums, advocating for a safer iGaming market.
