Paolo Zamorano

Paolo Zamorano was born July 19, 1986, in Corona, California, and played college basketball as a forward for the University of San Francisco Dons during the 2007‑08 season. After his playing career ended, he became an NBPA‑certified sports agent in 2013 and operated independently for most of his career, negotiating over $25 million in player contracts for former NBA clients such as Rodney Stuckey, Ed Davis, and Austin Daye. In January 2026 he joined Gersh Sports as an NBPA‑certified agent, based in San Francisco and reporting to Basketball EVP Deirunas Visockas. In this role he handles contract negotiations and off‑court marketing, branding, community, and public relations opportunities for his clients.

In June 2026, Zamorano was indicted by a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of New York on charges of wire fraud conspiracy, bribery in sporting contests, honest‑services wire‑fraud conspiracy, and money laundering, in connection with an illegal sports‑betting scheme. He pleaded not guilty in July 2026 and the case remains pending. The indictment also named former NBA player Malik Beasley and three other individuals, linking Zamorano to allegations that he shared inside information with bettors.
