Paul Liberman

Paul Liberman is the President of Operations and a co-founder of DraftKings, a leading digital sports entertainment and gaming platform. He co-founded DraftKings in 2011 alongside Jason Robins and Matt Kalish, initially launching the company from his spare bedroom in Watertown, Massachusetts. His data-driven approach and technical background have been crucial to the company's significant growth and evolution within the fantasy sports and betting industry.

Throughout his tenure at DraftKings, Liberman has held various senior leadership positions, including Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), and Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his current role as President of Operations, which he assumed in December 2025, he is responsible for leading execution across the company's core operating functions, encompassing marketing, product, technology, and customer experience, ensuring alignment and delivery across the DraftKings platform. Previously, he served as President of Global Product & Technology.

Before co-founding DraftKings, Liberman accumulated over a decade of experience in technology and business operations. He began his career as an Application Engineer with Analog Devices from 2005 to 2007, then moved to Vistaprint, where he held several roles, culminating as Senior Manager of Strategy & Analytics between 2005 and 2012. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Liberman has been instrumental in expanding DraftKings from a startup into a global platform with millions of monthly users, securing partnerships with major sports leagues such as the NFL, NHL, and UFC. His leadership has led to the development of award-winning standalone apps and products, including DraftKings' DK Live, Leagues, the DraftKings Fantasy Sports app, and the DraftKings Sportsbook platform. He was also named to Boston Business Journal's “40 Under 40” list.
