Peter M. Carlino

Peter M. Carlino is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. (GLPI), a position he has held since the company's inception in February 2013. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Penn National Gaming (now Penn Entertainment) from its initial public offering in 1994 until 2013, overseeing its growth from a regional racetrack and casino operator into a national gaming company. After stepping down as CEO, he remained Chairman of the Penn National Gaming Board until June 2019, at which time he became Chairman Emeritus of that Board.
