Pierre Bouchut is a seasoned French executive with extensive experience in finance, operations, and board leadership across retail, consumer goods, and gambling. He began his career in the retail sector, serving as Chief Financial Officer of Carrefour SA from 2009 to 2012, then as Chief Financial Officer of Delhaize Group Belgium from 2012 to 2016, and later as Chief Operating Officer for Europe and Indonesia at Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize N.V. from 2016 to 2018.

Bouchut joined the board of Entain (then GVC Holdings) as a non-executive director in September 2018. He was appointed Senior Independent Director before stepping into the role of Interim Non-executive Chair in February 2025 following the sudden departure of CEO Gavin Isaacs. In 2025, he was confirmed as permanent non-executive chairman of Entain, the global sports betting and gaming group.

Since 2016, Bouchut has also served as a non-executive director on the board of Firmenich, the global fragrance and taste company. He holds additional directorships and brings deep financial and operational expertise to his board roles.
