Raymond Pineault is the president and chief executive officer of Mohegan, the tribal gaming and entertainment operator owned by the Mohegan Tribe. He has led the company since 2022, succeeding Mario Kontomerkos, and oversees a portfolio that includes Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Mohegan Pennsylvania, and Mohegan INSPIRE in South Korea. His remit also includes Mohegan’s regulated digital gaming and sports-betting operations.
Before becoming CEO, Pineault served as Mohegan’s chief operating officer, with company-wide responsibility for its casino and resort operations across North America and Asia. He was previously president of Mohegan Sun and earlier held senior operations roles at the company’s Pennsylvania property. Pineault first joined Mohegan during the original build-up of Mohegan Sun and has advanced through a series of operational and property-level leadership positions over more than two decades.
Under Pineault’s leadership, Mohegan has concentrated on expanding its integrated-resort footprint internationally and bringing online gaming, casino, and sports-betting services to market under tribal regulatory oversight. He remains focused on the company’s long-term development projects and on strengthening Mohegan’s position as an operator of large-scale entertainment destinations.
