Sean Windeatt is a financial services executive who has spent his entire career at BGC Group, serving as Chief Operating Officer since 2009. In April 2025, he was appointed Co-Chief Executive Officer alongside John Abularrage and JP Aubin, while retaining the COO title. He also holds the role of Co-Global Head of Brokerage, added in 2023.
Windeatt began his career as an accountant in the City of London and joined BGC Group in the early 2000s. He was working in the London office on September 11, 2001, and has been instrumental in the firm's recovery and subsequent growth. His leadership has been central to the firm's annual Charity Day, which has raised over $220 million for charitable causes.
Outside of work, Windeatt is a lifelong supporter of Torquay United FC and joined the club's Bryn Consortium in 2025. He studied at the University of Bedfordshire and is based in London.
