Co‑Founder & Global Ambassador, The Sandbox

Sébastien Borget is a French entrepreneur and computer science engineer, a graduate of Telecom SudParis. He began his career in 2004 as an intern at Motorola Mobility, then worked as a Web Project Manager at Ipercast, where his clients included Universal Music and AB Video. From 2007 to 2011 he served as Chief Operations Officer at Wixi.

In 2011 Borget co‑founded Pixowl, a mobile game development studio that produced titles such as The Sandbox (the original mobile version), Addams Family: Mystery Mansion, and Goosebumps HorrorTown, reaching over 40 million players. In 2018, he and his team pivoted The Sandbox to a blockchain‑based metaverse built on Ethereum, incorporating NFTs and the SAND utility token. This move transformed the property into a multi‑billion‑dollar ecosystem.

Today Borget serves as Co‑Founder & Global Ambassador of The Sandbox and as President of the Blockchain Game Alliance, advocating for blockchain adoption in gaming. The Sandbox has attracted major brand partnerships including Atari, Snoop Dogg, Adidas, and Square Enix. Borget is a frequent speaker on Web3 gaming, NFTs, and the metaverse.
