Under his leadership, DAZN has expanded its global footprint through strategic acquisitions and aims to redefine how sport is experienced worldwide, emphasizing interactive fan engagement services like betting and e-commerce alongside live sports streaming.

Prior to joining DAZN, Segev made a significant impact in the iGaming industry. Segev's extensive experience in online gaming dates back to 2006 when he transitioned from software technology to join Playtech, a prominent gambling software provider. He held various executive positions at Playtech, including Chief Operating Officer of its subsidiary Videobet, and later served as the Chief Operating Officer of Playtech itself. His earlier career also includes a role as Chief Strategy Officer at Gala Coral Group in 2015.

Recognized as a technology "futurist" within the gaming intelligence community, Segev has been named in the "Gaming Intelligence Hot 50" list multiple times. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. His professional journey began in the Israel Defense Forces as a computer engineer, followed by roles at Comverse Technology, Inc. and Mercury Interactive, where he developed expertise in software development and IT systems.
