Simon Planzer

Dr. Simon Planzer is a partner at PLANZER LAW AG, a Switzerland-based law firm with an internationally recognized niche specialization in technology, gaming, and entertainment. The firm provides strategic, regulatory, and legal advice to companies, regulators, and other stakeholders across all areas of the gaming, entertainment, and technology industries, with particular expertise in European (EU/EEA) and Swiss law, as well as compliance matters including AML, fraud, and responsible gaming.

In addition to his legal practice, Dr. Planzer serves as a Lecturer in Law at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where he is the Director of the Competence Center on Gaming & Entertainment. He is a general member of the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the IMGL Magazine.
