Stefan Rust

Stefan Rust is a serial entrepreneur and global technology leader who entered the crypto space in 2012 after a developer requested payment in Bitcoin. Earlier in his career, he was instrumental in bringing mobile technology to China in the 1990s, setting up four mobile networks and selling them to China Unicom in 1999. He also participated in investments and acquisitions that led to the development of a Java-based mobile operating system, paving the way for Android.
He served as CEO of Bitcoin.com, a leading cryptocurrency platform with gambling-related products, and later founded Truflation, a decentralized real-time inflation data oracle. Most recently, he founded Index.fun, a prediction market platform that bridges iGaming and blockchain. He is a world-class masters swimmer and a frequent speaker at blockchain and iGaming conferences.
