Stepan Dobrovolskiy

Stepan Dobrovolskiy is the Chief Executive Officer of BetBoom LATAM, the Latin American division of the international betting and iGaming operator BetBoom. In this role, he leads the company’s licensed operations across the region, including Brazil, and oversees strategic partnerships with major esports organisations such as BLAST and FURIA. Based in London, he has been instrumental in securing BetBoom’s regulatory approvals in Brazil and expanding the brand’s presence in emerging markets.

Prior to entering the iGaming sector, Dobrovolskiy was a serial entrepreneur in the property technology space. He co-founded and served as CEO of Mashroom, a UK-based end-to-end community lettings platform, from approximately 2016 to 2022. Concurrently, he held the role of CEO at emoov, a hybrid estate agency, from around 2019 to 2022, gaining valuable experience in scaling technology-driven businesses.

Dobrovolskiy joined BetBoom in an operational leadership capacity, initially serving as Chief Operating Officer from about 2022 to 2024. In that role, he helped lay the groundwork for the company’s expansion into Latin America, including the process of obtaining a sports betting license in Brazil. His contributions led to his promotion to CEO of BetBoom LATAM in 2024.

As CEO, Dobrovolskiy has focused on building a compliant, locally-adapted operation in Latin America. A key achievement is the multi-year agreement with BLAST, making BetBoom the exclusive media rights holder and betting partner for BLAST Premier and BLAST Slam esports events in the region. He frequently speaks at industry conferences such as SiGMA Asia and contributes to iGaming Brazil, sharing insights on regulatory developments and market strategy.
