Sujit Christy is a distinguished Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) leader and cybersecurity advisor, currently serving as Founder/President of Circulo de CISO and functioning as a Chief Information Security Officer for leading accounting and enterprise organizations. With over 25 years of experience, he reinforces cybersecurity and cyber safety measures across multiple industries.
Christy holds significant volunteer leadership roles within the cybersecurity community. He is a member of the ISC2 Chapter Regional Management Committee – APAC and serves on the Cyber Security and Privacy Thematic Group appointed by Sri Lanka's Ministry of Technology to design the National Digital Strategy 2030. He was a founding member, charter secretary, and past president of the ISC2 Chennai & Colombo Chapters, and actively mentors the ISC2 Chartering Chapters in Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune.
His contributions have been recognized with prestigious honors, including the ISC2 President’s Award in 2013 – the first recipient from the SAARC region – as well as the ISC2 Information Security Leadership Awards (ISLA) for the Asia Pacific region and the ISC2 Volunteer Service Award (APAC). Christy is also a sought-after speaker at international conferences such as SiGMA, where he addresses blockchain, AI governance, and cybersecurity challenges in emerging economies.
