
Teddy Sagi is an Israeli billionaire businessman and the founder of Playtech, a leading gambling software developer founded in 1999 and floated on the London Stock Exchange in 2006. He currently serves as Entrepreneur at Playtech, having sold his remaining stake in the company in November 2018. Sagi is based between London and Dubai.
Sagi has taken four companies public on London’s AIM: Playtech, Market Tech (now Labtech London), online payments processor SafeCharge International, and cybersecurity firm Kape Technologies. In 2019 he sold SafeCharge to Nuvei for $889 million. His business interests span fintech, cybersecurity, and iGaming.
Beyond technology, Sagi owns London’s Camden Market and has made extensive real estate investments across Israel, the UK, Cyprus, Dubai, and the United States. His net worth is estimated by Forbes at $7.1 billion as of June 2026.
In 1996, Sagi was convicted in Israel for fraud and bribery and served five months in prison. He is the partner of Yael Nizri, Miss Israel 2006, and has seven children.
