Vicky Foxcroft

Vicky Foxcroft is a Labour politician and the UK Government’s Gambling Minister, serving as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. The appointment places her at the centre of British gambling policy, including the Government’s post-2023 Gambling Act review and related regulatory reforms.

Foxcroft entered Parliament in 2015 as MP for Lewisham Deptford and later became Labour’s frontbench spokesperson for disabled people. She was Shadow Minister for Disabled People between 2017 and 2024, when Labour was in opposition, building a profile in disability rights, welfare, and social security policy. She has a background as a disability and welfare campaigner as well as a parliamentary record on those issues.

Following constituency boundary changes, she was elected in 2024 as MP for Lewisham North.
