Vildan A. Teske has spent over 25 years litigating state and national class actions on behalf of consumers against major corporations. She handles claims under the Servicemembers’ Civil Relief Act (SCRA), deceptive trade practices, consumer fraud, usury, breach of contract, federal and state lending statutes, warranty issues, breach of fiduciary duties, credit insurance, illegal debt collection, and foreclosure. She has testified before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee on the impact of Supreme Court decisions on consumer access to justice.
Teske is currently lead counsel in a proposed class action against Stake.us, an online social‑casino platform, arguing that the platform operates as an illegal gambling operation under Minnesota law. Her practice increasingly focuses on iGaming/gambling litigation while continuing her long‑standing consumer‑class‑action work at Teske Law, PLLP.
She has served as lead counsel in SCRA class actions, including a $2.35 million settlement for servicemembers in Olson v. Citibank, N.A.. Teske has been recognized with the Federal Bar Association’s Robyn J. Spalter Outstanding Achievement Award, has been named a SuperLawyer in Minnesota each year since 2015, and has been listed among the Top 100 Minnesota Lawyers and Top 50 Women Lawyers from 2018 to the present. She also received the Minnesota Lawyer Diversity and Inclusion Award in 2018.
Teske has been appointed to the U.S. Senate Federal Judicial Selection Commission for two terms (2016‑2017 and 2019‑2020). She previously served as a founding partner of Teske, Katz, Kitzer & Rochel and as a partner at Crowder Teske, PLLP, before her current role at Teske Law, PLLP.
