Willem van Oort is a highly experienced gambling-industry professional based in Barcelona, Spain. He is the founder of the B2B community network Gaming in Europe, which comprises Gaming in Holland, Gaming in Spain, and Gaming in Germany – regional platforms that connect iGaming stakeholders through events, webinars, and content.
He also serves as founder and CEO of GranViaOnline, an eGaming consultancy with offices in Madrid, Amsterdam, and London. Additionally, he acts as an independent iGaming consultant and has joined the board of Mindway AI, a company specializing in AI-based responsible gambling tools.
Van Oort is a regular commentator for industry outlets such as Gambling Insider and frequently speaks at conferences, including ICE and the newly launched Leaders in Compliance Conference (May 2025) in partnership with Chevron Group. He also serves as a judge for the Gambling Compliance Awards.
