Youri Hazanov is a Swiss technology and media executive with over a decade of experience in video content, partnerships, and digital platforms. He holds a master's degree in international relations, an MBA from the University of Geneva, and an executive certificate from Harvard Business School in entertainment, business media, and sports. He is fluent in five languages and also teaches digital marketing at the International University of Monaco.
Hazanov began his career at Google, where he spent ten years launching, developing, and managing YouTube across markets in EMEA, Central & Eastern Europe, Russia, Israel, and the Middle East. He served as Head of YouTube Partnerships in Europe, leading the partnerships business and strategy with traditional media. This role established his expertise in scaling international video and creator ecosystems.
In August 2021, he joined Jellysmack, a global creator company, as Head of International. He was later promoted to General Manager and Chief Partnerships Officer, becoming a member of the executive team and leading the company’s global expansion strategy. His work at Jellysmack focused on driving B2C and B2B partnerships and scaling the company’s presence across new markets.
In August 2024, Hazanov was appointed Non-Executive Director of Blackbird plc, a developer and seller of cloud video platform technology. Blackbird noted that his expertise in scaling international businesses and partnerships would contribute to its strategic direction. His career reflects a consistent focus on video technology, digital media, and creator economies, with no direct ties to iGaming or gambling industries in confirmed sources.
