Drake to Host Stake Anniversary Livestream with $1M Giveaway on Kick

2026-08-10

Stake has confirmed Drake will return to Kick on August 8 for a livestream with over $1 million in giveaways, including a $50,000 live grand prize, as part of its anniversary celebrations. The announcement follows Drake's Toronto Strong Women, Stronger Drinks event, where he gave away $500,000 and luxury vehicles.

Stake has confirmed that its global brand ambassador Drake will host a new livestream on Saturday, August 8, at 9:00 PM ET, giving viewers a chance to win a share of more than $1 million in prizes. The event, announced via Stake's social media channels on Thursday, will air on Drake's official Kick channel.

During the broadcast, one participant will be selected to receive $50,000 live. The stream continues the interactive format that has become a signature of previous Stake-Drake broadcasts, which combine live casino gameplay, audience interaction, and large-scale community giveaways.

Anniversary campaign

The giveaway sits at the heart of Stake's ongoing anniversary celebrations. The operator has spent the year rolling out exclusive promotions, competitions, and special events aimed at its global community, and the Drake livestream ranks among the largest viewer-focused activations in that campaign. Stake has used the collaboration to position live streaming as a central part of its marketing strategy, blending gaming, entertainment, and creator-led content.

Following the Toronto giveaway

The announcement lands two days after Drake hosted his third annual Strong Women, Stronger Drinks event in Toronto. At the Casa Loma gathering, he surprised 10 attendees with $50,000 each, plus luxury vehicles including a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, while every woman in attendance received $1,000 in cash.

Drake has said the concept was inspired by What Women Want, a late-2000s Toronto event created by marketer Shannae Ingleton Smith. "To be a man at the event, you had to work," Drake explained.

The upcoming stream is expected to draw viewers from across the gaming and entertainment communities, extending a series that has become one of Kick's most anticipated recurring events. With the $1 million prize pool and a $50,000 grand prize awarded live, Stake continues to invest in real-time, participatory experiences as part of its anniversary push.
