BGaming’s TRUE WAYS Returns with Record Engagement, Tackles Content Overload
2026-07-20
BGaming’s second TRUE WAYS conference drew over 450 senior industry professionals to discuss content overload, with speakers stressing quality over quantity and urging studios to adapt to shifting player attention. A third edition is confirmed for November.
Event Overview
BGaming has concluded the second edition of its TRUE WAYS online conference, held on July 15. The event drew more than 450 registrants from across the iGaming ecosystem, including operators, providers, affiliates, and aggregators. Over half of the attendees held senior decision-making roles such as C-level executives and department heads, underscoring the conference’s focus on expert-level dialogue.
TRUE WAYS was launched as a platform for candid industry discussions. After a successful debut in 2025, BGaming committed to making it an annual fixture. This year’s edition centered on the theme “Content Overload in iGaming: Who Wins the Player’s Attention?”, exploring how saturated markets and AI-driven competition affect player engagement.
The conference featured six 20-minute sessions, hosted by Surya Palli (creator of iGaming Real Talk) and opened by BGaming CEO Marina Ostrovtsova. Speakers included Carl Wiggman (Print Studios), Caelum Ferrarese (Stake), Igor Bondarenko (BGaming), Leonardo Benites (Propane), Mike Danshin (1w Crypto), and Gretta Kockonan (SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator).
Audience engagement surged, with nearly 100 questions submitted before and during the event—more than triple the number from the first TRUE WAYS.
Key Themes and Insights
A central thread throughout the sessions was the primacy of quality over quantity. Gretta Kockonan from SOFTSWISS noted that roughly 5% of 40,000 available titles drive 80% of player activity, arguing that sheer library size no longer guarantees success. BGaming’s Igor Bondarenko echoed this, urging studios to avoid releasing repetitive, mediocre titles and instead think critically about portfolio output.
Other speakers addressed how brands capture attention beyond the games themselves. Leonardo Benites of Propane detailed how successful operators integrate into local communities, particularly in Brazil. Stake’s Caelum Ferrarese emphasized that providers most willing to adapt to market demands will thrive long term.
Carl Wiggman of Print Studios highlighted a perceptual gap: players often experience games as part of a broader lobby environment, while studios view each title in isolation. Mike Danshin from 1w Crypto framed the challenge as a fight for a slot among the three games a player typically opens in a mobile session, rather than a battle for overall market share.
Future Plans
Marina Ostrovtsova confirmed that TRUE WAYS will return for a third edition in November, citing the strong response and actionable insights generated by this year’s conference. Recordings of the sessions remain available on demand for registered participants, with registration still open for new viewers.
