The G2E Dealer Championship's nomination deadline is July 17, with the 2026 edition expanding to include dealers from the US, Canada, and Mexico. The competition, held during G2E in Las Vegas, tests blackjack and roulette skills and will feature a larger show-floor footprint.
Casino operators have just one day left—July 17—to put forward their dealers for the 2026 G2E Dealer Championship, which will return to the Global Gaming Expo with a broader scope after its initial run last year.
The competition, now accepting submissions from regulated casinos across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, marks the first time it will encompass the whole of North America. Its 2025 debut was limited to U.S. properties. Organizers have also secured a larger area on the G2E show floor, expecting a bigger audience for the live event. The championship itself runs from September 29 to October 1, 2026, at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.
Participants will be tested in blackjack and traditional roulette, each dealing for 15 minutes while judges assess technical skill, hospitality, and game control. Elimination rounds will narrow the field, with cash prizes for the top three finishers. Eligible dealers include full-time, part-time, and dual-rate employees from legal commercial, tribal, and state-regulated operations. A nomination must come from a table games executive at the director level or higher, and each nomination requires a participating judge from the same property.
"We're proud to bring back the G2E Dealer Championship after it was so well received in 2025," said Korbi Carrison, Event Vice President for G2E at RX. She described the event as a showcase for "the exceptional talent and showmanship of casino dealers" and their role in creating a memorable guest experience.
Building on a strong debut, the 2025 championship featured 34 dealers from U.S. casinos, with Elleonor Hoffman of Graton Resort & Casino taking the title and top cash prize. Organizers noted that the event quickly became a G2E highlight, offering attendees a close-up view of the expertise behind live table games while recognizing dealers as key brand ambassadors. Debi Nutton, former EVP of Casino Operations and now an Executive Coach & Gaming Consultant, added: "Dealers are at the heart of the gaming experience and often serve as the guests' first impression."
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for companies seeking visibility through on-site branding, digital promotion, and attendee engagement. Organizers urge eligible operators to submit nominations before the July 17 deadline. Registration for G2E 2026 is also open through the event's official site.
