Lotto.com names former FanDuel executive Ruxandra Tereanu as COO

Lotto.com has appointed former FanDuel VP Ruxandra Tereanu as COO and Amanda Coyle as VP of HR, bolstering its executive team as it expands into new markets including a recent launch in Puerto Rico.
Online lottery platform Lotto.com has appointed Ruxandra Tereanu, formerly a VP of Business Operations at FanDuel, as its new Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she will oversee the company’s operational strategy and execution.
Tereanu brings more than 13 years of leadership experience from Flutter Entertainment, Flutter UK&I and FanDuel. Alongside her appointment, Lotto.com also announced the hiring of Amanda Coyle as Vice President of Human Resources, effective July 15.
“Ruxandra and Amanda bring a powerful combination of operational expertise, leadership experience and people-first thinking that will help drive Lotto.com's next phase of growth,” said CEO Thomas Metzger. “As we continue expanding our platform and reach, their leadership will be instrumental in scaling our business while maintaining the strong culture and customer experience that define Lotto.com.”
Coyle will lead Lotto.com’s people strategy, covering talent acquisition, employee experience, leadership development, compensation and benefits, and organizational effectiveness. She described Lotto.com as being “at an exciting stage of growth.”
Tereanu commented on the move: “Lottery is the last major gaming category moving online, and the opportunity ahead is enormous.” She added that the combination of innovation, growth and impact attracted her to Lotto.com, noting the chance to reach new customers, enter new markets and support state programs funded by lottery revenue.
The appointments form part of Lotto.com’s push to strengthen its executive leadership team ahead of further US expansion. The company recently entered its first market outside the US on July 9, launching its lottery courier services in Puerto Rico — also marking its debut in a primarily Spanish-speaking market.
Currently, Lotto.com offers only draw games in Puerto Rico, including Powerball, Double Play, Powerplay, Loto Cash and multiple daily contests.
