Resorts World Sentosa Launches Marriott-Branded Hotel in Jurong Development Zone

2026-07-23

Resorts World Sentosa has opened the 557-room Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong, marking its first hotel outside the Sentosa integrated resort and tapping into the developing Jurong Lake District as Singapore's second CBD.

Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has officially opened the Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong, expanding its hospitality footprint beyond the Sentosa integrated resort. The 557-room property, which began welcoming guests on 22 July, occupies a refurbished 15-storey building along Jurong Town Hall Road.

Location and Connectivity

The hotel sits within the Jurong Gateway area, placing it close to Jurong East MRT station, the International Business Park, and numerous retail and entertainment venues. Future transport links are expected to further boost accessibility: the Jurong Region Line is scheduled for completion in 2029, followed by the Cross Island Line in 2032.

Facilities for Business and Leisure

Meetings and events are centred on the 426-square-metre Genting Ballroom, which can be subdivided into three sections and host up to 330 guests for seated dining. An additional five meeting rooms serve corporate functions, while a rooftop Sky Lounge and adjoining lawn offer outdoor event space. Other amenities include an all-day dining restaurant, a swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness centre, and a self-service laundromat.

Strategic Context

The opening aligns with the ongoing transformation of Jurong Lake District into Singapore's second Central Business District, a shift that is likely to generate rising demand from corporate travellers, event attendees, and leisure visitors in the western part of the city.

For RWS, the new hotel diversifies a portfolio that previously consisted solely of properties on Sentosa. The integrated resort currently operates six other hotels—The Laurus, Crockfords Tower, Equarius Hotel, Equarius Villas, Hotel Michael, and Hotel Ora—which together supply more than 1,900 rooms, suites, and villas.

The Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong also participates in Marriott International’s Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme, allowing guests to earn and redeem points across the chain’s global network.
