Israel Rosenthal

Israel Rosenthal is a seasoned executive in the iGaming and fintech payments industry, currently serving as CEO and co-founder of MuchBetter, an app-based mobile wallet and prepaid card solution. The company focuses on secure, low-cost e-payments for customers and merchants, with a strong emphasis on the online gambling sector.

Prior to founding MuchBetter in October 2016, Rosenthal spent over a decade at Rational Group, the parent company of PokerStars, Full Tilt, and Amaya. He joined as Chief Operating Officer in February 2006 and held that role until August 2016. During his tenure, he was responsible for operational and audit functions including customer support, game integrity, security, payments, and resource management.

Rosenthal holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, completed between 2001 and 2004. His legal background, combined with extensive operational experience in the gambling industry, positioned him to identify gaps in payment infrastructure and launch MuchBetter.

Under Rosenthal's leadership, MuchBetter has grown into a recognized payment brand within the iGaming ecosystem, offering alternative payment methods that reduce friction and cost for both players and operators. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and is quoted in gaming and payments media.
