Lorenzo Fertitta is a Las Vegas-based casino executive and the Chairman of the Board of Red Rock Resorts, Inc., the parent company of Station Casinos. He is part of the Fertitta family that founded Station Casinos and has been involved in the family gaming business for decades. His current focus is on the company’s Nevada-based casino and entertainment properties.

Fertitta and his brother, Frank Fertitta III, took control of the family gaming business after their father, Frank Fertitta Jr., died in 1995. He served as President and CEO of Station Casinos into the early 2000s, helping to grow the company into one of the largest casino operators in Nevada.

In 2001, the brothers purchased the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and built it into a major global mixed martial arts organization. Fertitta served as CEO of Zuffa, LLC, the UFC’s parent company, until the promotion was sold in 2016 to a group led by WME-IMG. That sale became one of the most notable sports business transactions of its era and underscored the Fertittas’ record as investors and operators.

Since the UFC sale, Fertitta has returned to the center of the family’s gaming business. As Chairman of Red Rock Resorts, he oversees a publicly traded company whose portfolio includes Station Casinos properties across the Las Vegas Valley.
