Maciej Smolarek is a seasoned technology leader with over 12 years of experience managing engineering teams and more than 8 years in the gaming industry. He holds a degree from Poznań University of Economics and Business, specializing in IT and economics. He began his career as a software engineer and spent several years in software houses, working with over 300 clients across various sectors.
His first move into gaming came through leadership roles at Huuuge Games and Ten Square Games, both mobile gaming studios. He later served as Director of Engineering at Crimson Pine Games before being appointed Chief Technology Officer at Yggdrasil Gaming in January 2023. He departed Yggdrasil in May 2024 and shortly after joined BetGames as CTO.
