Nicolás "Cayetano" Cajg

Nicolás Alberto Cajg (born 22 November 1978 in Buenos Aires), widely known as 'Cayetano', is an Argentine sports journalist, radio and television presenter, and commentator. He rose to national fame as the long‑time co‑host of the radio program Perros de la calle from 2002 to 2020. After leaving that show, he continued at Radio Metro hosting No trates de entenderlo until the station’s spoken‑word programming ended in August 2025; he returned to Perros de la calle in February 2026. On television, he has hosted Vamos a la Caye on DirecTV Sports and contributed to Fox Sports and TNT Sports.
In 2017 Cajg first publicly disclosed his severe gambling addiction, which led to the loss of an inherited apartment. His 2024 autobiographical book No va más details his struggles and recovery. Since 2024 he has been an active speaker on compulsive gambling (ludopatía), delivering workshops and talks in partnership with the Instituto Provincial de Lotería y Casinos (IPLyC) of Buenos Aires and other provincial lottery bodies, as well as with the Defensoría del Pueblo and various universities. He is also a trained football coach (licensed in 2021 under César Luis Menotti) and manages a team in Pilar, Argentina.
