Pascal Chaffard

Pascal Chaffard is a French executive who has spent his entire career with the FDJ Group (now FDJ UNITED). He currently serves as Chief Online Betting and Gaming Officer and Group Strategy & Operational Transformation Officer, leading the group's online betting and gaming business unit while driving strategic and operational transformation across the enterprise. He is a graduate of ESCP Europe.

Chaffard joined FDJ in 1994 as a financial controller for IT and international business. Over the following decades, he held progressively senior roles including Project Manager (appointed 1996), Financial Planning and Analysis Director (2001–2006), and Product Marketing Director (2006–2009). He later became Head of Strategy and Transformation (2010–2013) before being promoted to Executive Vice-President Finance, Performance and Strategy, a position he held from 2014 to 2024.

In February 2025, Chaffard was appointed to his current dual role, expanding his remit beyond online betting to include group strategy and operational transformation. His appointment reflects FDJ UNITED's focus on strengthening its digital and betting operations following the acquisition of Kindred Group.

Since 2024, Chaffard has also served as Chairman of the board of Kindred Group plc, a subsidiary of FDJ UNITED. He has been vocal on regulatory matters, publicly urging the Dutch regulator to reconsider advertising bans in the interests of player protection and channelization.
