Paul Buck

Paul Buck is a British safer-gambling specialist with more than two decades of experience in and around the gambling industry. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of EPIC Risk Management, a consultancy focused on gambling-harm prevention, education and independent advisory work for operators, regulators, sports bodies and public-sector organisations.

Before founding EPIC in 2019, Buck served as Director of Safer Gambling at GVC Holdings (now Entain), a role he took on after GVC acquired Ladbrokes Coral. He previously held responsible-gambling leadership positions at Ladbrokes and Ladbrokes Coral, where he worked on player protection and safer-gambling strategy.

Under Buck’s leadership, EPIC Risk Management has become a frequently quoted commentator in industry and mainstream media on gambling-related harm, safer-gambling regulation, sponsorship and player protection. The company works across the gambling sector and beyond, delivering harm-prevention programmes tailored to operators, sports organisations and public-sector bodies.
