History

Seneca Gaming Corporation (SGC) was chartered in August 2002 by the Seneca Nation of Indians to manage the Nation’s Class III gaming operations. Following the signing of a Nation-State compact with New York in early 2002, SGC opened the first phase of Seneca Niagara Casino in December 2002. The corporation quickly expanded, opening Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino in 2004 and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in 2008.
