FeedConstruct and WBSC Sign Exclusive Data and Streaming Rights Deal
2026-08-10
FeedConstruct has secured exclusive worldwide data and live streaming rights for a slate of WBSC baseball events in 2026, covering the Women's Baseball World Cup group stage, Premier12 qualifiers, and the U-23 Baseball World Cup. The partnership aims to expand international access to the sport while enhancing in-play betting engagement for operators.
FeedConstruct has entered into an exclusive partnership with the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), securing worldwide data and live streaming rights for a portfolio of major international baseball events. The agreement covers comprehensive match coverage and official data services, which the sports betting data and streaming provider will distribute through its global network of operators.
The arrangement is designed to expand the international reach of baseball by giving FeedConstruct's partners access to ultra-low-latency live video and real-time statistics. Both organizations framed the deal as a step forward in the WBSC's digital and commercial strategy, with the confederation leveraging FeedConstruct's technology and distribution footprint to grow the sport's audience.
Covered Events
The exclusive rights span three flagship WBSC competitions on the 2026 calendar. The WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup Group Stage runs from July 22 to August 23, while the WBSC Premier12 Barcelona and Zhongshan Qualifiers take place from October 9 to 11 and November 26 to 29 respectively. The WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup opens on November 6.
According to FeedConstruct, the stat-driven nature of baseball makes it particularly suited to in-play betting, and the company expects the new content to enhance live engagement for its sportsbook partners. The WBSC, meanwhile, emphasized that the partnership supports its broader goal of making its events more accessible to fans and commercial partners worldwide.
Executive Perspectives
Narek Harutyunyan, CEO of FeedConstruct, called the alliance a "defining milestone" in the company's global rights strategy. Michael Schmidt, CEO of WBSC, said the partnership combines world-class technology with a global distribution network and welcomed FeedConstruct to the "WBSC family." Both executives expressed confidence that the collaboration will boost the international profile of baseball.
